EPW - Dent, 34 Cockspur Street, London, "Watchmaker to Her late Majesty," styled in the manner of Abraham Breguet, going barrel keyless lever made by Nicole Nielsen, 50mm, 18K OF original case bearing London hallmarks for 1908, casemaker's stamp "RN" in cameo for Robert Benson North of Nicole, Nielsen & Co at 14 Soho Square, Soho, SW-pin-set, the crown with sapphire top, perhaps customized, Tavernier-style ET silver dial, fully capped lever escapement with sugar-tong counterpoise, 20J, gilt mvt, s#33135. Gross weight of assembled watch 62.8 dwt (97.8 g). In exceptional condition.
CONDITION:
Mvt: GRO, mint mvt condition overall; dial near mint, tarnish only; hands mint; case shows hardly any wear, few MFS, no dents or dings, crisp detail; bow tight, crown shows very little wear; scratches to glass crystal.
